I'm a people watcher. Thankfully, it's not in the stalker-ish paparazzi sense (although carrying my camera everywhere I go lends to strangers thinking this). In all seriousness, I enjoy observing what is happening around me. What are the expressions on peoples' faces? How are they moving? What are they noticing?
I've played around with photography since 1994 when film was king. In 2003, I got my first DSLR as a gift when my son was born. Aside from my son, I have a daughter as well. Together with my hot wife, Lisa, I share the joys and sorrows of parenting - my main inspiration for shooting these days.
Now when you see me, you'll automatically think that I'm Hispanic, Filipino, East Indian, Southern Oriental, or a mix of all of those and more. The story that I stick by is that I am Chinese/Jamaican and mixed with almost everything. Aside from my cultural background, I've been exposed to various environments via the places I've lived - Jamaica, Canada, and the United States. My current stomping ground is Nashville, TN - oddly enough a place where I feel right at home.
